📄 Job Details – RN Med-Surg / Telemetry

🏥 Position Overview:

The RN will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit, including monitoring cardiac patients, managing post-surgical cases, and administering cardiac drips. The role requires strong clinical judgment, telemetry interpretation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to Med-Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Administer cardiac drips and medications safely
• Manage post-surgical patient care
• Coordinate care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Supervise CNAs and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
• Ensure adherence to professional nursing standards and safety protocols

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Experience with: Telemetry monitoring & rhythm interpretation, Cardiac drips, Post-surgical care
• Active Illinois RN License (required at submission)
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Experience with Adult & Geriatric patients
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated

🕒 Assignment Details:

• Duration: 10 / 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour Day shifts
• On-Call: TBD
