Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist to join our healthcare team in Elko, NV. The ideal candidate will perform complex laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to delivering accurate results in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including immunoassays, DNA isolation, RNA extraction, and PCR.

  • Conduct blood sampling and venipuncture procedures with precision and care.

  • Analyze and interpret laboratory data to ensure accurate results for patient diagnosis.

  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.

  • Accurately document test results in accordance with established protocols.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss test findings and provide diagnostic insights.

  • Monitor patient vital signs as necessary during testing procedures.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.

  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as blood sampling, immunoassays, CT, and PCR highly desirable.

  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex results accurately.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
