Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Lab Scientist, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results that directly impact patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Performing a wide range of clinical laboratory tests with precision and adherence to protocols
• Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments
• Conducting quality control and preventive maintenance procedures
• Preparing reagents and managing supply inventory to support efficient operations
• Reviewing and reporting test results, including notifying providers of critical values
• Upholding regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, and other standards) and maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborating with fellow laboratory staff and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• Certification as MLS/MT (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required or eligible
• Previous experience as a generalist in a hospital or clinical lab setting preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for accuracy
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: Starting at $32/hour - $47/hour base
• Sign-on bonus: $10,000, with relocation assistance available
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, full-time, with both day and night shifts available - take a week off without using PTO!
