The Medical City South Luzon is searching for skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologists to join our team and support both clinical and research initiatives. This role is responsible for performing laboratory tests, ensuring accurate sample processing, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and contributing to high-quality patient care and scientific discovery.What’s The Role All About?Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses to support clinical and research needs.Ensure accurate and timely processing of samples while maintaining strict quality control and adherence to protocols.Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and team members to provide insights that inform clinical decisions and research outcomes.Maintain detailed records, documentation, and inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.Stay updated with the latest developments in medical technology and laboratory practices.Assist in training and supervising junior medical technologists, contributing to team development.Who Are We Looking For?An effective Medical Technologist must possess the following skills:Technical Expertise: Proficiency in laboratory procedures, equipment, instrumentation, and information systems.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret test results accurately, think critically, and make informed decisions.Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with researchers, clinicians, and team members to ensure coordinated efforts.Operational Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and adherence to protocols.Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support junior medical technologists.Professional Development: Commitment to continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and trainings.Ideally, candidates must be graduates of a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and possess a valid RMT license. Experienced professionals are preferred, but motivated new graduates with a passion for patient care and research are welcome to apply.
