GENERAL Position Overview Responsible for the processing and analyzing of laboratory specimens and reporting of test results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the laboratory. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or a Medical Laboratory Technical with an associate degree in Medical Technology. Experience At least 1 year of experience in a hospital laboratory Licenses / Certifications / Registries Certification as an MLS, IMLS, MT, MLT or IMT by ASCP, ASCPi, AMT, AAB or ISCLT.
