Job Title: Medical Weight Loss Medical Assistant
Location: College Station
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:50 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Compensation: $18 - $23 per hour (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical Assistant to join our medical weight loss team in Pearland, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing medical weight loss services. Prior experience in weight loss is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who have at least 3 years of experience as a medical assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with intake procedures, including taking vital signs, medical history, and preparing patients for consultations.
- Provide patient education on weight loss programs and treatments.
- Administer injections and assist with other medical procedures as directed.
- Prepare and manage patient charts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up as needed.
- Manage office supplies and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to provide excellent patient care.
- Help maintain a positive and supportive environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant.
- Weight loss experience is preferred, but not required (training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and compassionate demeanor.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures, including electronic health records (EHR).
