What you bring to SBHG:
- Valid California Drivers License
- Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
- Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health field
- Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
- BLS CPR/First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
How you will make a difference:
This position assesses clients at start of treatment (reviews as needed), develops and maintains treatment plans, and conducts family collateral and discharge planning. Duties include discussing goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establishes a contract with the consumer. Interviewing consumers to team with mental health professionals in determining the needs of individuals or groups on a walk-in/telephone basis; respond to potential suicide or other emergency events. Provides Counseling Services based on clients needs.
Division/Program Overview:
- Valley Stars Full Service Partnership is for adults ages 18 to 59 and provides mental health services and linkage support to community services.
- Services are provided in the office, in-home or in community locations.
