We specialize in POS solutions tailored to businesses, ensuring secure and efficient payment processes. Position Summary We’re looking for a POS Technical Support Specialist who can confidently support POS and payment environments and learn systems quickly. This role includes installing and configuring POS systems, providing on-site and remote support, troubleshooting issues, and performing system updates. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and support POS systems and payment terminals for merchants Provide on-site and remote technical support to resolve issues efficiently Troubleshoot POS hardware/software, connectivity issues, and payment processing errors Perform system updates, device replacements, and configuration changes as needed Train customers on basic system usage and best practices Maintain clear documentation of service calls, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and improve support processes Follow company standards, security practices, and support protocols Qualifications Experience: 1–2+ years in POS, payments, IT support, or a related technical support role Payments and Device Knowledge: Understanding of payment terminals/devices and core payment concepts such as EMV, chip/tap/swipe, batch/settlement, network connectivity basics Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing issues Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills Tools and Productivity: Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook and basic-to-intermediate Office apps; ability to use AI tools to work smarter with drafting, summarizing, documenting, and troubleshooting support Schedule Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays as needed Driver Requirements: Valid driver’s license, active driver, and personal vehicle required for travel to client sites Nice to Have Experience supporting or working with Clover, Valor PayTech, PAX Store, iPOSpay Payments, or Datacap. Not required, training will be provided.
