Position: Metal Finishing Technician

We are looking for a skilled Metal Finishing Technician to prepare and finish products according to detailed drawings and specifications. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate manufacturing of products to meet customer expectations. Additionally, the successful candidate will mentor less experienced team members in craftsmanship, company standards, and lean processing methods.

• Prepare and finish products according to drawings and specifications.
• Complete complex tasks within set timeframes, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
• Train and mentor team members to meet established standards.
• Ensure parts, subassemblies, and finished products are correctly labeled.
• Follow procedures outlined in company handbooks and relevant documentation.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure the quality of produced items meets company and customer standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Expertise in training related to Metallurgy.
• Skilled in TIG welding, with a focus on precision.
• Excellent touch-up and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes in metal finishing.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
