Position: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse(LPN/LVN)

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights,7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12
Shift Notes: Tuesday and Thursday 24 Hour Guarantee with the option to pick up shifts
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Sunday
On-Call Requirements: No Call

Travel Policy: The local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%. Anyone with a permanent address within a 35-mile radius of the facility is considered a local traveler.
Dress Code: Matching Scrubs
Further Specifics:
- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
- OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
- Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
Supervises and performs direct and indirect resident care as specified by individual resident care plans and physician orders according to federal, state, and facility rules, regulations, and policies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Education: Associate's degree from an accredited university
Experience: Previous geriatric experience preferred
Licensure: Current RN/LPN licensure from the State of Michigan
Skills: Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Must demonstrate computer literacy including use of computer programs and applications. Must be CPR trained and possess a current BLS certification.

- A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if a license is hit, it would be in the traveler's best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
- Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months.
