Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level M&A associate with 4-8 years of experience to join their Transactions Practice Group in Miami, FL. This role focuses on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, emphasizing private equity-driven transactions. Duties Represent clients in complex corporate M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers. Draft, negotiate, and communicate effectively throughout the transaction lifecycle. Manage multiple workstreams and interact directly with clients and deal teams. Engage in business development and build long‑term client relationships. Requirements Substantial experience in M&A transactions. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience managing multiple workstreams. Interest in business development. JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Active member in good standing of the Bar where admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located.
