Position: mid/Senior Electrical Engineering (Relocation Assistance Available)Location: Crane, INCitizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required - Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance (US Citizen and clean record)An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Electrical Engineer with an interest in digital components and systems. This role offers the potential to work on high-impact defense-related programs with mentorship from experienced engineers and technologists. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.Key Responsibilities:Support digital component engineering activities and assist with technical documentation and reporting.Collaborate with program teams on digital part selection, reliability, and integration into broader systems.Troubleshoot and analyze component issues, providing technical recommendations.Gain exposure to electrical test methodologies, failure analysis techniques, and material evaluation tools.Engage with multiple stakeholders including contractors, test labs, parts manufacturers, and government agencies.Participate in the development and review of test plans and system lifecycle documentation.Contribute to evaluations of military specifications and standards.Opportunities to attend industry meetings (e.g., JEDEC) and participate in Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) audits.Travel approximately 25-50%.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.1–5 years of relevant experience (internships and co-op experience may be considered).Familiarity with digital or component-level engineering.Interest in quality, reliability, and performance of IEEE parts.Basic understanding or willingness to learn military standards (e.g., MIL-STD).Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts.Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a desire to build advanced skills.Ability to write and interpret technical reports.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience with integrated circuits (ICs) and digital component analysis.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design practices for IEEE components.Understanding of differences between military, industrial, commercial, and automotive standards.Experience in benchtop electrical testing.Familiarity with advanced Excel functions (e.g., macros, complex formulas).Active Secret Clearance (preferred but not required).
