Job Description

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time role is open for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in grades K-12 within a school district located in Atlantic Beach, FL. This position operates on a contract basis and involves providing specialized support across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

As a school-based BCBA, you will work primarily in self-contained K-12 programs. Your role will focus on supporting teachers rather than delivering direct student services. Key responsibilities include offering behavioral suggestions, conducting classroom observations, assisting with data collection, modeling effective strategies, and developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).

This position is itinerant, requiring travel to multiple schools within the district to deliver consistent, high-quality behavioral support. An active BCBA licensure is mandatory for candidacy as it ensures adherence to professional and ethical standards central to the role.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure required
  • Experience working in school environments, specifically with self-contained K-12 programs
  • Knowledge of functional behavior assessments and data-driven interventions

  • Excellent communication and observational skills

Benefits of this role include engaging with diverse student populations, professional development in educational environments, and the opportunity to impact educational and behavioral outcomes positively.

This position does not involve direct service delivery to students but emphasizes teacher support and program development.

Qualified candidates interested in a dynamic school-based BCBA contract assignment in Atlantic Beach, FL, are encouraged to apply for consideration.
