MIG WELDER & FITTER
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - 4:30 pm
$22.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine welding requirements
- MIG and TIG weld steel and stainless steel components as specified
- Set up welding cells for production runs
- Follow and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
- Operate welding and production machinery as required
- Assemble components and prepare final products for shipment
- Inspect welds and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production goals
- Lift and move materials manually or using hoists
- Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards related to welding
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required; welding certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in MIG welding (TIG, Stick, and Flux Core a plus)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials
- Able to operate and maintain welding equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a fast-paced team
- Willingness to work outdoors, at heights, or in confined spaces as needed
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts when required
