One of our manufacturing clients in North York, ON region is looking for a Millwright Apprentice (4th year) for their facility.
Shift - Night
Responsibilities:

Possessing a comprehensive grasp of the mechanical and electrical components of equipment utilized in the bakeshop and packaging departments (such as flow wrappers and metal detectors) over a span of 3 to 5 years.

Familiarity with various shop tools, including proficiency in Welding (TIG/MIG) and Fabrication.

Capable of efficiently troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues, as well as setting up equipment promptly.

Hold a college education in Electro-mechanical or Maintenance Millwright program.

Demonstrate the ability to make both major and minor adjustments to equipment within a reasonable timeframe.

Conduct all maintenance activities on plant equipment with a focus on safety, ensuring cleanliness and optimal functionality while adhering to GMP standards.

Undertake a range of mechanical equipment maintenance tasks, encompassing both corrective and preventative measures.

Engage in equipment/system enhancements, conduct research, and test new equipment, while meticulously maintaining all maintenance records and ensuring the availability of related information.

Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical aspects, encompassing set-up, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
