Badwolf Adventure Studios is proud to work with a wide network of after-school and community programs throughout the Twin Cities Metro. Primarily offering D&D programming, we also offering crafting classes that supplement the D&D and table-top role-playing game hobby. These programs range in length from a single session class to ongoing multi-session classes that run the length of a full school-year. Our contractors, called \"Game Masters,\" take kids of all ages on adventures guided by their imagination, while teaching critical thinking, team-work, roleplay, and puzzle-solving skills.

Creativity is empowered, and Game Masters are counted on to provide flexible programming that allows for each student's needs to be met. Game Masters are part of a creative collaborative, and are given access to a massive toolbox to draw on as they develop and maintain their programs.

Most school and community programs are scheduled for weekdays with start times between 2 pm and 4 pm and last for 2 hours. We are currently hiring for a six-session weekly Monday program, beginning June 24th, that runs from 3 pm to 4:30 pm in Minneapolis, MN. The instructor hired for this position will have the opportunity to lead and support other programs as they become available.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Guide students through age-appropriate miniature painting as part of a variety of school and community programs.
  • Create a welcoming place for kids to explore, create, collaborate, and have fun.
  • Develop connections and learn about students interest so they can tailor crafting to fit individuals.
  • Assist with various on-site activities as needed.
  • Assist with off-site marketing opportunities and events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with miniature painting for tabletop games or other similar hobbies.
  • Enjoy working with youth, and know how to adjust activities to meet youth needs
  • Creative and inventive, with the ability to accept constructive criticism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Effective time management skills with a proven ability to stay on schedule.
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.

Compensation: $20 per hour. Please note, this is a 1099 contractor position.
