The company's main business is supply chain management and logistics services, logistics platform development and operation. Resources: Commodity procurement and supply business mainly feature plastic chemicals, metal minerals, agricultural products, forest products and mechanical and electrical products, such as five general resins, EVA, fish meal, whey powder, palm oil, latex, steel, non-ferrous metals, automobiles, etc.
As an Operational Director, you will be at the forefront of orchestrating growth strategies and ensuring optimal efficiency across our organization. You will oversee key departments such as Purchasing & Documentation, EXIM, and Logistics. Your role will be instrumental in aligning our internal processes with the broader business objectives, while fostering effective partnerships externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Purchasing & Documentation, EXIM, and Logistic departments, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Foster strong channels of communication with managers, staff, and vendors to align with the company's vision and growth.
- Continuously analyze internal operations to pinpoint areas of improvement and enhance efficiency.
- Quickly establish and nurture relationships with crucial vendors.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to support the company's financial health and growth.
- Ensure all operational tasks are completed on time and within the stipulated budget.
- Monitor market trends, supply, and demand dynamics to drive informed decision-making.
- Formulate impactful strategies that propel company growth.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and maintain the industry's highest standards.
- Address and resolve challenges arising from both external and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, irrespective of the major.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager or at a similar senior level.
- Previous work experience in the Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry.
- Strong understanding of Purchasing, EXIM, and Logistic processes and regulations.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (speaking, writing, listening, and reading).
- Proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting to C-level executives.
- Willingness to undertake business trips as required.
