Job Overview Devereux invites you to join our team as a Mobile Therapist with the Pocono Center located at 1547 Mill Creek Road, Newfoundland, PA 18445 . This is an Independent Contractor position. Area of Service Primary service area includes Carbon, Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, and Wayne counties in northeastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Provide face‑to‑face child‑centered, family‑focused, individualized psychotherapy and behavioral management using a strengths‑based approach. Develop and implement individualized behavior modification intervention plans. Identify behavioral goals, recommend least restrictive change methods, and develop short‑term outcome goals. Conduct assessments of children and families, and document therapeutic progress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members and other agencies for coordinated services. Attend Inter‑Agency Service Planning Team meetings. Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services law. Travel to community sites, conduct service visits, and provide emergency coverage as needed. Qualifications Master’s level clinical credential: social worker, behavior specialist, or equivalent. Valid Pennsylvania license as a social worker or behavior specialist. Graduate degree with clinical practicum experience (or 1+ year of full‑time mental‑health direct service experience plus relevant graduate coursework). Experience in providing direct mental‑health services to children, youth or young adults. Education & Experience Graduate degree with at least nine credits in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, and completion of a clinical practicum in mental‑health direct services. Contract Information Contracting with Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health as an independent contractor – not eligible for benefits. Pay & Sign‑On Bonus Pay rate: $36 per hour . Sign‑on bonus (eligible for applicants before 12/31/2025): $2,000 total in increments – $500 upon completion of training and onboarding, $500 after first case worked, and $1,000 after six months of service.
