Position: Mobility Connectivity and Support Services Field Engineer 3
Location: Rocky Hill, CT, 06067
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Job Description:
  • Mobility Connectivity and Support Services: Client will provide one dedicated technician who will be perform following activities.
  • The technician will perform these tasks under client supervision as per the work instruction documents shared by client as part of the pre-requisites.
  • Support for both iOS and Android based devices
  • Walking end users with new orders through the set-up process
  • Wiping and reconfiguration of mobile devices
  • Raise incidents with client carrier(s) e.g., Data connection issues
  • Follow client lost or stolen devices process
  • Manage client inventory distribution for new hires and returns for terminated employees
  • Work directly with the Client Service Desk on improved knowledge articles and improvements
  • Participate in IT Unplugged Events
  • Communicate maintenance notifications (internal or carrier related)
  • Communicate known issues to wider audience (i.e., End Users, Service Desk
  • Good knowledge of PC hardware and software (Windows)
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • High level client facing professional customer satisfaction focus (called white glove treatment in some circles)
Responsibilities:
  • Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Provides maintenance and support on legacy products.
  • Supports Core, server products.
  • Performs disk replacement on enterprise storage products.
  • Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers, and peripherals.
  • Supports network products from operational and maintenance perspectives.
  • Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.
  • Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers, and client approved applications.
  • Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.
  • Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system
