We are hiring friendly, passionate, talented, experienced, Sales Consultant professionals. This is a full-time (average 40 hours per week) role. We are open Monday through Friday from 10AM to 5:30PM and Saturdays from 11am-2:00pm so a flexible schedule is a must. This position will normally be compensated from $16-$22/hour, commensurate with the applicants experience. Once the training period is complete, the compensation amount may be revisited.

Mobility Consultant will receive ongoing training, marketing materials, access to key partners and other resources to learn about products.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Oversee the reception area, greeting customers and answering the phone. If needed, assist customers with getting into the store and offer transportation via wheelchair
  • Meet with customers in person (or virtually) to build rapport, tour the store while explaining product lines, and eventually generate sales
  • Provide customers with genuine guidance and support specifically related to their current and/or future needs - Customized support and care
  • Provide information on products and explain company policies
  • Generate new sales including up-selling and add-on selling
  • Execute custom orders for items that are not in stock, or that we do not typically carry in the store
  • Maintain customer logs and records
  • Help with office roles as needed, such as receiving deliveries, record keeping, filing, and Quickbooks
  • Travel to customers homes within a 10-mile radius

Qualifications: Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Three to six months of experience in healthcare, social work, retail, sales, or hospitality
  • Working knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
  • Ability to learn new software quickly (e.g., simple transactions in Quickbooks)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional presence and skilled in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communicating
  • Drivers license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record

Physical Requirements of the Job

  • Work requires frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Work requires regularly stooping, bending, and kneeling
  • Work requires the ability to be on your feet for up to eight hours during one work shift
  • Requires regularly reaching and grasping objects at, above, and below shoulder level
  • Work requires regularly grasping and fine manipulation with hands
  • Work requires regularly proofreading and checking documents for accuracy
  • Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system
