In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our Mohs surgeons and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for Mohs surgeries by reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
- Assist surgeons in the operatory by ensuring all required instruments and materials are available.
- Provide post-operative instructions and support to patients following their procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Handle administrative duties such as managing patient schedules and documentation.
- Educate patients on the Mohs surgical process and address any concerns they may have.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical assistant role, especially in a surgical or dermatological setting.
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and understanding of aseptic techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring compassion and care.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic clinical environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards in healthcare.
