Location: Clinton Township, MI

Job Summary
We are seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, and hardworking individuals for a 1st shift Mold Setter position. The Mold Setter will be responsible for performing mold changes, machine troubleshooting, and repair, while supporting a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mold changes according to schedule and prepare/setup machines for production.
  • Ensure the work area is safe and communicate effectively with all impacted employees during mold changes.
  • Follow standardized work procedures for mold changes and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Assist maintenance technicians/electricians with machine maintenance, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.
  • Support mold makers with injection mold tool troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with the production team to prioritize Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
  • Monitor process conditions to ensure they remain in control.
  • Participate in trials for new programs and technology.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and analyze non-conformances or quality issues, and assist in developing and verifying corrective actions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
