Production Technology ManagerThis role will master the Production Technology and Maintenance Techniques being responsible for:Loss (Breakdown, Waste, Speed), Investigation and ResolutionReview and updating injection molding press maintenance standardsImplementation of basic maintenance processes for the designated product linesUsing technical team to build molding operator skillsCoordinating the completion of planned maintenance activitiesResponding quickly to breakdowns to prevent downstream unplanned downtimeEnsures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leads Loss (Breakdown, Waste, Process) Investigation and ResolutionLeads Technical Tier 1 meeting and provides engineering status of injection molding department equipment and deploys technical resource(s) to minimize lossesResolve repeat loss issues using systematic problem-solving techniques to determine root causeProvides leadership and supports Sr. Process Technicians and Shift Technicians/Lead Operators in Investigation of losses (Breakdowns, Waste, Speed) to ensure effective resolutionCoach Technicians and Operators in quality and effectiveness of problem-solving tools and robustness of countermeasuresSupport all Operation Excellence projects and quality validations as required to help improve equipment reliabilityDevelopment of Maintenance standardsEngage with Operators and Technicians to effectively use Daily Task Maintenance and Planned and Preventative Maintenance to increase OEE and safety performanceProvide details to improve Maintenance Standards and execution (Frequency, Breakdowns and Repairs) to Reliability Leader based on problem solving outcomes and DTM/PPM activity.
