Job Title: PD Monitor Technician Location: Jersey City Medical Center Department Name: Telemetry Services Req #: 0000213235 Status: Hourly Shift: Day Pay Range: $25.50 - $25.50 per hour Job Overview The Monitoring Technician is responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The technician delivers telemetry to inpatient units and performs monitor connection/discharge, patient preparation, and teaching related to the monitor. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through American Heart Association required Telemetry and/or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course preferred Scheduling Requirements Flex Schedule Coverage for day, evening and weekend shifts Choosing RWJBarnabas Health!
