Our staff members are proud to live and work in this area, and are committed to providing quality healthcare to our community.Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Unit Manager, performs all monitoring related functions as a member of a patient care team by identifying cardiac rhythms, communicating with members of the health care team and documenting. This role functions in accordance with all existing regulatory and hospital standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Reports to Manager.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Telemetry Monitor experience preferred but will train.Clerical skills preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills highly preferred.Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.Must possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and interact effectively with health care team members, patients and families.Knowledge of arrhythmia detection highly desirable.With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
