Supports patient safety and clinical communication in centralized monitoring environments.Essential FunctionsContinuously observe and interpret cardiac rhythms from telemetry monitorsRecord rhythm strips at designated intervals and notify nursing staff of changesMaintain monitor station cleanliness and function; report equipment issuesDocument rhythm interpretations and maintain accurate logbooksCommunicate clearly and promptly with unit nursing staffKnowledge/Skills/Abilities/ExpectationsAbility to interpret dysrhythmias accuratelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective verbal and written communicationAble to multitask and respond calmly in emergenciesProficient in EMR systems and basic computer functionsQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED preferredLicenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hireExperience: No prior experience required.
