We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our growing team. This role is critical to delivering a smooth and efficient loan experience for borrowers, brokers, and internal partners. The Processor is responsible for loan file management, processing mortgage applications, and preparing complete files for underwriting submission while coordinating with third-party vendors throughout the loan origination process.
Responsibilities
- Order and follow up on appraisals, inspections, title reports, and verifications.
- Prepare, review, and submit mortgage loan files for underwriting.
- Track, request, and clear underwriting conditions in a timely manner.
- Communicate with appraisers, title companies, inspectors, credit agencies, and escrow partners.
- Manage pipeline tracking and ensure loans move efficiently through the mortgage processing workflow.
- Respond to internal processing, underwriting, and compliance requests.
- Maintain accurate loan status updates, communication logs, and documentation in the loan origination system (LOS).
- Maintain consistent communication with borrowers, Account Executives, and internal teams throughout the mortgage lifecycle.
- Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as needed.

- Maintains confidentiality of borrower financial information and company data.

- Ability to manage high-volume loan pipelines in a deadline-driven environment.

- Works effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work independently and remotely as needed.
- Familiarity with best practices in mortgage operations.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary
- Additional incentive for each closed loan.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in mortgage processing, loan operations, or loan origination.
- Understanding of mortgage terminology, credit reports, and basic mortgage analysis.
- Experience with loan origination software (LOS) preferred.
- Knowledge of DSCR loans is preferred.
- Strong customer service and borrower communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
