Responsibilities include:

• Gathering and organizing the information required for a complete mortgage file.
• Evaluation of the information to determine that it meets product requirements.
• Computerized tracking of all mortgage loan files.
• Verbal, written and face to face customer communication with regards to their mortgage file in process.
• Proper planning and organization to meet strict processing and closing deadlines.
• Preparation and delivery of loan files to outside investors or mortgage insurance companies for underwriting approval and follow up if the product requires.
• Calculation of mortgage closing figures, preparation of mortgage closing packages, and set up of the new loan on the software system.
• After closing, follow up as needed for Post-Closing, Quality Control, and customer questions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities we are looking for:

• Strong customer service skills
• Self-motivated and well organized
• Knowledge of Word and Excel programs
• Prior experience in loans is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
