MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.
Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent
or GED.


2.
One year full-time, wage-earning automotive or heavy equipment
repair or maintenance or metal forming and fabricating or automotive
parts retail sales experience.


3.
Experience in driving a truck tractor or wrecker preferred.


4.
Correctional custody or law enforcement experience preferred.


5.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).


6.
Valid CDL Medical Examiner's certification statement issued
within the last two years.


7.
Successful completion of the current Texas Department of Criminal
Justice freight transportation road test.
Road test will be scheduled
after the interview process.


  • Must obtain a Passenger (P) endorsement within 120 days of
employment date.


Must be registered with the U.
S.
Department of Transportation
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug and
Alcohol Clearinghouse.
