Location: On-site at GMC | 202 Prospect Dr, Glendive, MT 59330 | Imaging Department Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly (bi-weekly pay) Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:30PM | 2 - 3 shifts per week Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is a Critical Access Hospital serving eastern Montana and western North Dakota. Guided by our SERVE philosophy-Service, Excellence, Respect, Value, and Engagement-we deliver compassionate care and foster a supportive, community-focused environment. As an MRI Imaging Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our MRI Technologists and ensuring excellent patient experiences throughout the MRI exam process. This is a meaningful opportunity to build your clinical skills while contributing to high-quality care in a welcoming, team-oriented environment.What You'll DoPosition patients safely and comfortably for MRI exams using appropriate immobilization and protective equipment.Conduct MRI safety screenings for all patients prior to procedures.Start IVs and administer contrast media per protocol and under direction of MRI Technologists.Assist with scheduling, patient coordination, and general clerical support.Accurately enter procedure and supply charges according to established protocols.Load and operate power injectors for contrast administration.Support onboarding and orientation of new Imaging Assistants.Provide compassionate care to meet both the physical and emotional needs of patients.Help maintain efficient patient flow and adjust schedules as needed.Participate in staff training and education.Utilize the PACS system effectively for imaging and recordkeeping.Perform additional duties as assigned to support the imaging team.What We're Looking ForWorking knowledge of anatomy and physiology.Understanding of MRI safety, current trends, and best practices.Ability to learn and perform quality control tasks, operate MRI-related equipment, and navigate computer systems.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and coworkers.Required Licenses/Certifications:Current CNA License or Medical Assistant LicenseMontana Limited Radiology Technologist (CRT) LicenseARRT Imaging Assistant (IA) Credential-must obtain within 1 year of hireCurrent BLS CertificationOne year of previous healthcare experience preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, reach, and bend for extended periods.Able to lift up to 50 lbs.Sufficient physical strength and agility to safely position patients for diagnostic exams.Adequate vision, hearing, and communication abilities to perform essential duties.Benefits That Support You Eligible the 1st of the month after 59 days:Medical, Dental, Vision insuranceHealthcare Spending AccountsShort-term disabilityVoluntary fringe benefitsCompany-paid Life, AD&D, and Long-Term DisabilityEligible after 30 days:401(k) with company match (100% vested after 2 years)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Float HolidaysExtended Illness TimeWhy Glendive?
