Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 Job Summary:

The MRI Tech will perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, producing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. All procedures will adhere to departmental protocols, policies, and standards of practice. The MRI Tech will be responsible for patient assessment and monitoring, ensuring safe and appropriate care throughout the imaging process. Special attention is required for screening patients for contraindications to MRI scanning, ensuring MRI safety protocols are strictly followed.

• Perform MRI procedures, producing diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Follow departmental protocols, policies, and procedures to perform imaging according to established standards of practice.
• Assess, monitor, and provide appropriate care for patients during imaging procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in MRI safety practices, with a focus on screening patients for contraindications prior to scanning.

• Education: Associate's degree (required).
• Certification: ARRT Certification in Radiography (required).
• MRI Certification: ARRT Certification in MRI is required within six months of hire.
• CPR Certification: American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
