Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Description:

1. Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
2. Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants and contraindications
3. Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
4. Position patients and operate MRI equipment to obtain optimal image quality
5. Administer contrast agents as prescribed and within scope of practice
6. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond to patient needs
7. Ensure strict adherence to MRI safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
8. Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission for interpretation
9. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the EHR/PACS
10. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
11. Maintain MRI equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns
