Position Title:
Maintenance Mechanical Technician
Pay Rate:
$34.41 to $45.21/hour ($.68 to $1.83/hour shift allowance)
Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.
Sign on Bonus:
New hires are eligible for up to $5,000 in relocation assistance for those that relocate more than 75 miles from the Port Wentworth Mill.

The Job You Will Perform:
- Routine maintenance work
- Replacing valves & gaskets,
- Basic welding, repacking pumps & valves
- Forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations
- Cylinder repair, pump repair & replacement,
- Repair of rotating assemblies, roll repair and replacements, motor replacements
- Repair of mechanical drive systems.
The Skills You Will Bring:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Eligible for employment in the US
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Basic computer skills
- Able to function in a team environment.
- 5 or more years of Heavy Industrial Maintenance Experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: MILLWRIGHT, WELDING, OR PIPEFITTING.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in any of the IP Core Maintenance skills or related disciplines. (Millwright, Welding, OR Pipefitting)
- Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong math/physics understanding.
- Millwright backgrounds on the mechanical side.
- SAP Experience
