Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift. This role is responsible for executing mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance on various industrial equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, vacuum seal systems, overhead cranes, lamination equipment, gel coating machines, CNC trimmers, sensored conveyors, motors, pumps, and more. The candidate should be proficient in reading ladder logic, troubleshooting PLCs, and must be able to interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot up to 480v 3-phase.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum seal systems.
• Maintain and service overhead cranes, lamination equipment, and gel coating machines.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment efficiency.
• Utilize basic PLC troubleshooting skills to read and follow ladder logic.
• Operate and troubleshoot sensored conveyors, motors, pumps, conveyors, rollers, and pulleys.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in multi-craft industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting using schematics and a multimeter.
• Ability to troubleshoot up to 480v 3-phase electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of PLC troubleshooting, including reading ladder logic.
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Certifications, degrees, or courses in skill trades are advantageous.
• Ability to conduct in-depth troubleshooting and program or edit PLCs.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment includes exposure to strong odors such as acetone, resin, and fiberglass in certain plant areas. A respirator must be worn when working on specific equipment, and the ability to pass a respirator fit test is required. The temperature in these areas remains at 85 degrees to facilitate gel coat/fiberglass setup. PPE, including white tie-back suits, gloves, and respirators, is provided. The operation is divided into wet side, wood room, dry side, and shipping/receiving areas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
