Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support a 24/7 tire production facility in Graniteville, SC. This role directly reports to the Area Maintenance Supervisor and requires expertise in maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment to ensure continuous operation of assigned production areas. The position offers opportunities for career growth and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment in a family-oriented, safety-first work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair industrial production equipment, conveyors, pipeline distribution systems, and process control systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with various PLCs, networking/communications systems (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet), AC drives, motors, and automated controls.
  • Calibration: Calibrate devices for flow, level, pressure, and temperature.
  • Repair & Inspection: Conduct equipment rebuilds and repairs, inspect parts for wear and damage, and test machinery for safe operation.
  • Technical Documentation: Interpret and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings to perform work.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance activities.
  • Additional Tasks: Utilize hoists, lifts, hand and power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Multi-Craft Expertise: Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and electronic maintenance.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience or 3 years plus an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Availability: Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts on a modified DuPont schedule, with flexibility to cover both day and night shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PLC Knowledge: Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Electrical Systems: Familiarity with 480-volt and 3-phase motors.
  • Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Proficient in the maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
