Position Summary

The Multimedia Producer is a passionate creative who is responsible for creating visually compelling content for various media and platforms for GO Media and our clients. This role involves conceptualizing, producing, and editing photography and video content that aligns with brand identity and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, technical proficiency, and a keen understanding of visual storytelling principles.

Essential Functions & Outputs

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality multimedia content including videos, photography and digital presentations.
  • Production: Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
  • Editing and Post-Production: Edit and refine multimedia content to ensure visual coherence, narrative flow, and alignment with to brand guidelines and messaging. This includes video editing, audio mixing, graphic design, and animation.
  • Storytelling: Work closely with cross-departmental teams to develop engaging narratives, thematic approaches, storyboards and interview questions for multimedia projects, ensuring they resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and freelancers (such as videographers, photographers, and graphic designers) to execute multimedia projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in multimedia production and digital storytelling to continuously innovate and enhance GO Media’s offerings.
  • Documentation and Archiving: Maintain thorough documentation and archives of multimedia assets, project files, and production processes to facilitate future revisions, updates, and reuse of content.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional photography and videography work.
  • A strong portfolio of multimedia work.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or holidays for key events.
  • The dynamic nature of GO Media requires collaboration in-person to best promote it.
  • Promotes and exemplifies the GO Media culture of exceptional client service, teamwork, and innovation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent media workflow organization.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple projects at once, with little supervision.
  • Works well independently and with others.
  • Proficiency with multimedia production software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or related applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Videography or Photography preferred
  • Previous agency experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be in good physical condition.
