Shift: Monday Friday, 4 days/week, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (10-hour day shifts)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Multimodality Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Lakeway, Texas. Under the general supervision of a Radiologist, this role performs imaging procedures in two or more modalities, with a 50% focus on an advanced discipline such as CT. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with departmental protocols, with no weekend call required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to established protocols

  • Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure understanding, comfort, and safety

  • Prepare patients and imaging areas, including positioning, immobilization, and equipment adjustment

  • Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards

  • Maintain imaging equipment and collaborate with engineers and physicists for optimal operation

  • Screen patients and staff according to safety policies

  • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant patient documentation (charts, history, pregnancy status, consent forms, policies, etc.)

  • Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure timely interpretation

  • Provide first aid and emergency response as needed

  • Serve as preceptor and assist in training new staff or implementing new services

  • Ensure patient satisfaction by providing timely, professional, and courteous service

Qualifications
  • X-ray and CT experience (minimum 2 years in each)

  • Active Texas license

  • ARRT certification

  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
