ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACADEMIC POSITION
LECTURER IN MUSIC

Academic Year 2023-24

The Department of Music at the University of California, Davis, announces an opening for a lecturer to teach the following course during the spring term of 2024.

Music 10 Introduction to Musical Literature: Introduction to composers and major styles of Western music. Lectures, listening sections, and selected readings. A general survey course intended for non-majors.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications for teaching Music 10 include a PhD in musicology or equivalent professional experience

SALARY: Negotiable, dependent upon candidates training and experience.

STARTING DATE: Spring Quarter 2024
