Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic National Account Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key national clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions across their organizations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for these clients, working to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Serve as the primary liaison for national accounts, fostering strong relationships to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client objectives and drive revenue growth.

  • Sales Forecasting: Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and provide accurate forecasts and reports to senior management.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Problem Solving: Address any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Training and Support: Provide clients with product training and ongoing support to maximize their use of our solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years of account management or sales experience, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., technology, consumer goods, etc.].

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving sales targets.

  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.

  • Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
