ABOUT THE ROLE:
Torque is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven individual to join our National Accounts team as a Project Specialist. This role supports the execution of large-scale customer projects while contributing to account growth and operational excellence. This role functions as a hybrid of inside sales, project management, and account support. Approximately 30% of the role focuses on sales support, while 70% is dedicated to order management, project coordination, and installation support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Front-End Sales Support (Approx. 30%)
- Support incoming product inquiries and customer requests
- Assist in developing quotes, pricing, and proposals
- Provide product recommendations and build product knowledge
- Support account preparation and follow-up
- Maintain accurate documentation in NetSuite
Post-Sale & Project Management (Approx. 70%)
- Manage all open orders for assigned National Accounts
- Monitor credit holds, production schedules, and shipping timelines
- Review orders for accuracy
- Coordinate with internal teams
- Communicate project timelines and updates
- Maintain ownership from order through installation
Installation & On-Site Support
- Ensure equipment is installed correctly
- Identify and resolve issues in real time
- Travel to installations (1–2 per quarter)
- Travel for sales calls or conferences (2x annually)
WHAT YOU WILL BRING/QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- 3+ years’ experience in inside sales, account management, or project coordination
- Strong organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel
Preferred (but not mandatory)
- College Degree
- Experience in fitness equipment or B2B manufacturing
- NetSuite experience
- Technical background
- Installer/contractor coordination experience
