NC DHHS seeks a Technical Support Analyst for a contract position.
Tech Support Services requires a short-term contractor in the role of Technical Support Analyst. This position will provide much needed support for administration of production DB2, CICS, Endevor, and X/PTRsystems. The person filling thisposition should have
- Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
- The ability to provideconfiguration management / release management support and guidance for Endevorsoftware
- Thorough knowledge ofSQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
- Thorough knowledge oftools and utilities to support DB2
- The ability to evaluatecomplex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performanceand cost savings
- The ability to provideCICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing withapplication developers as well as DIT personnel
