Azure Cloud System Engineer
**This is a remote position. The candidate will need to use their own equipment for the duration of the engagement if they are not local.
This position is to provide support to the GIS Unit for cloud-based GIS resources. It is created to utilize advanced knowledge and skills in cloud systems to help build and maintain DOT s Azure GIS systems. The position will also perform system monitoring, system tuning, and cost efficiency related tasks to ensure adequate availability and performance of GIS cloud services and applications. The position will be required to document the procedures for cloud system build, monitoring, troubleshooting, and regularmaintenance. This employee must work with other teams in GIS Unit to coordinatethe work needed for cloud-based GIS systems and processes.
