Position Overview:
The Blast Operator is responsible for cleaning parts using various blast media in drum equipment to prepare components for further processing or coating. This role requires attention to detail, safety standards adherence, and a quality commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor blasting equipment to clean parts according to specifications.
• Handle various types of blast media and ensure proper application for each job.
• Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain and clean blasting equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Load and unload parts into drum equipment for blasting.
• Document work processes and maintain accurate production records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in blasting operations or a similar manufacturing role preferred.
• Knowledge of different blast media types and their applications.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
