Responsibilities

• Set up and operate boring mills according to engineering specifications and production schedules
• Monitor machine operations to ensure the consistent production of high-quality components
• Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and perform routine maintenance on machines
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and inspections
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and efficiency

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a Boring Mill Operator or similar role
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with precision measuring equipment
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and adapt to changing production needs
