Job Overview:
The company, a leading provider of high-quality fasteners, seeks a skilled Saw Operator/Cutting Technician to join our team. This role involves operating saws and cutting machinery to process materials precisely while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate cutting equipment such as band saws, circular saws, and other machinery.
• Material Handling: Measure, mark, and cut raw materials according to engineering specifications and work orders.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Documentation: Accurately record production data, material usage, and quality checks.

• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating saws or similar cutting machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Skills:
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
  • Knowledge of materials such as metals and alloys is a plus.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Vocational training or certification is a plus.
