Description

• Deprecation and Removal of XSLT in Web Browsers Project - aims to provide an alternative solution for all xlst dependent PHS web applications with a tight schedule and a hard deadline.
• CIRB Proof of Coverage/UnitStat Reporting and Data Exchange - In-house developed web application for reporting both policy and claims data to NYSCIRB and data exchange processes. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements including those arisen from statutory requirements.
• GLMain for Safety Group Accounting -- In-house developed web application to create various reports for Safetyp Group accounting purpose. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements due to new requirements.
• iPAM (Integrated Policy Administration and Maintenance) System - In-house developed web application for the administration and maintenance of a WC policy record during its life cycle. It consists of the following main modules Declaration, Entity, Location, Endorsement, Broker, Change of Interest, Contacts, Cancellation and Reinstatement, and Report. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements including those arisen from Billing Application Modernization.
• iCMS for WC New Business Cash Management - In-house developed web application for tracking of new business payments in interaction with Quote/Application System, Billing System and Oracle Financial. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements due to new requirements.

Duties

The duties of the consulting resources would be to plan, create, modify, test and implement code in support of any of the following:

• Develop Oracle stored procedure, packages, and triggers.
• Develop batch application using .net, oracle.
• Plan and design the structure of a technology solution.
• Communicate software requirements to app dev team members.
• Develop software with modern web development frameworks.

The consultant will adhere to NYSIF's application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience (15+ Years)
• Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.

Requirements

• This is an 100% Onsite.
• 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy administration and maintenance for Workers' Compensation Insurance or equivlaent.
• 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to actuarial data computation and gathering for Workers' Compensation Insurance or equivalent.
• 84 months experience in Oracle development using PL/SQL in the following: triggers, functions, stored procedures, packages, view, cursor, file processing, JSON processing, XML processing, advanced query optimization, and database design and implementation.
• 84 months programming experience in MVC, Web Services, and Oracle ODP.Net.
• 84 months experience as a .Net application developer using Microsoft TFS, Azure DevOps and Visual Studio 2015 or newer.
• 84 months experience with web browser application development using Javascript, CSS, JSON, XML, Xslt, Html, AJAX and BootStrap.
• 36 months with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas).
