Job Summary
Under direct supervision, you will design, code, test, modify, and debug computer software. You will be responsible for researching and analyzing system problems, developing program documentation, and translating business requirements into technical development activities. This role includes supporting the configuration of the GenTax COTS application.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software using secure and sustainable coding practices.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Document program specifications and system changes.
- Support the configuration and optimization of core applications.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (Recent graduates encouraged).
- Technical Skills: * Minimum 1 year of experience in any .NET programming language.
- Minimum 1 year of working knowledge of SQL.
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card/Permanent Resident.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, resiliency, and the ability to thrive in a small team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft VB.NET.
- Prior experience working within a formal software development organization.

- Background Check: Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting.
- Georgia Tax Compliance: Candidates must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations. Individuals with overdue/unpaid taxes or any felony convictions will not be considered.
