Role: .NET Developer
Location: San Dimas, CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our team on a contract basis with the potential for permanent placement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using .NET technologies and related frameworks. This role involves working on a variety of projects, providing production support, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET 5 or 6, and ASP.NET/MVC. Utilize Bootstrap for responsive design and jQuery for interactive functionalities.
• Front-End Technologies: Implement user interfaces with HTML and CSS to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience.
• APIs: Develop and integrate APIs to enhance the functionality and interoperability of applications.
• Database Management: Work with MS SQL and Oracle databases to manage and query data effectively. Perform database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Security: Address and implement security measures for external applications. Experience with security protocols and best practices is a plus.
• Networking Collaboration: Collaborate with the networking team to ensure smooth integration and operation of applications across different network environments. Previous experience working with a networking team is advantageous.
• Production Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for production systems to ensure high availability and performance. This may include resolving issues outside of regular business hours, as some deployments may occur after 10 PM EST.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to group projects and engaging in regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders.

Technical Skills Required:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C#.
• Frameworks: Experience with .NET 5 or 6, ASP.NET, and MVC architecture.
• Front-End Development: Strong knowledge of Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Database Systems: Experience with MS SQL and Oracle databases.
• API Development: Ability to design, implement, and consume APIs.
• Security: Familiarity with security practices for external applications is beneficial.
• Networking: Experience working with a networking team is a plus.
• Production Support: Capability to provide production support and handle after-hours deployments if needed.
