Sr. .NET Senior Programmer

Location: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days / Work from Home 2 days) Columbus OH

Must have: 6-7 years .NET/VB experience

Position Overview:

DAS is looking for an experienced Senior Programmer with expertise in .NET and strong communication skills to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for developing, maintaining, and enhancing .NET applications, working closely with clients to deliver efficient solutions, and ensuring optimal application performance. You will be responsible for both technical and project management duties in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, configure, and enhance .NET applications to meet customer needs.
• Solution Design: Assist in designing small, medium, and large-scale application solutions, ensuring they meet the client's requirements.
• Customer Consultation: Engage with customers to analyze, define, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Project Estimation: Estimate work effort for development, enhancements, and application support activities.
• Documentation: Help create and maintain both technical and end-user documentation for the applications.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports for customers and management regarding the status of projects and issues.
• Production Support: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly. Prioritize customer-reported problems and follow up on their resolution.
• Training: Provide hands-on training and assistance to end users to ensure successful application adoption and usage.

Skills and Experience:

• Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, and project management with .NET technologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft technologies including .NET, Visual Studio (2005, 2008), and SQL Server.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a team and engaging with customers.
  • Proven experience in leading projects and guiding team members.
  • Microsoft Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solution Developer or similar) is mandatory.
• Desired:
  • Experience with .NET Framework.
  • Advanced Degree in IT/Application Development.
  • Additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solution Developers (MCSDs) are highly desired.
