Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies, combined with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise networks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable to support the company's operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network segments.
• Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues such as network outages, latency, and bandwidth bottlenecks.
• Implement network security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from unauthorized access and cyberattacks.
• Collaborate with system administrators and other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems.
• Perform network upgrades and enhancements as required to support business growth and technological advancements.
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and assist in resolving network-related issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in networking.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications and experience may substitute).
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role in managing enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, etc.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and network troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
